You need to hold a current Private Pilot License (PPL(A)) and ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or higher by the start of the course. Full details are on the MCC and JOC pages.
The MCC consists of 25 hours of theory and 20 hours in the B737-800NG simulator. The JOC consists of 4 hours of theory and 4 simulator hours. The APS course is the most comprehensive with 40 hours of theory and 40 simulator hours. Exact scheduling is flexible and agreed individually — contact us to plan dates that work for you.
The standard MCC covers multi-crew cooperation fundamentals required by EASA. The APS MCC (Airline Pilot Standard) is an enhanced version with more hours, airline SOPs from day one, and a final competency assessment.
We train on a Boeing 737-800 simulator qualified at FNPT II MCC level, certified under EU regulations (certificate FSTD EL-49) and officially approved as suitable for APS MCC training. It features a panoramic 220° visual system, glass cockpit EFIS, TCAS, GPWS/EGPWS and windshear simulation. See the full details on our Simulator page.
